Panasonic Vacuum How-To Guide: Changing Bags

Learn the best and most efficient ways to change the bag of your Panasonic vacuum.

You have probably come across the Panasonic brand if you have ever bought a vacuum cleaner. After all, Panasonic has been making bestselling vacuum cleaners that remove allergens and dirt from customers homes for many years. Although many vacuums are now sold bag less, panasonic proves that bagged vacuums can be just as effective or even better quality than newer bag less vacuums. If you own a bagged Panasonic vacuum, change the bag when it reaches its fullest capacity to keep your vacuum working smooth and efficiently.

In order to replace a vacuum cleaner bag for an upright Panasonic vacuum cleaner, first remove the outer cover that stores the vacuum cleaner bag by pulling it out and up vigorously. Simply place the cover aside until you have replaced the vacuum cleaner bag. Next, remove the vacuum cleaner bag by tugging firmly on the cardboard that surrounds the hole that fits over the vacuum. Dispose of the full vacuum cleaner bag. Be sure to avoid squeezing the bag so that dust doesn’t escape and make a mess. Once you have disposed of the old full vacuum cleaner bag, find a new vacuum cleaner bag and flatten it down firmly on a flat surface. Find the cardboard square that surrounds the hole in the vacuum cleaner bag. Push this square around the vacuum cleaner tube inside the bag area, where it should fit snugly around the tube. Make sure that you push the cardboard square onto the tube as far as you can for best performance. Replace the aforementioned outer cover onto the vacuum cleaner by first fitting the lower edge and then proceeding to push the top edge in firmly until you hear a click which indicates it has been replaced properly.

Replacing a Panasonic vacuum cleaner bag is a bit different for a canister Panasonic Vacuum cleaner. Start off by lifting the outer cover by putting it straight up until it clicks into an open position. Remove the full vacuum cleaner bag by pulling it up firmly and out of the vacuum cleaner. Hold onto the cardboard square firmly to pull it out easily. Discard the full vacuum cleaner bag, again making sure that you do not squeeze and allow dust and allergens to escape. Put a new bag into the Panasonic vacuum by pushing the cardboard square over the tube inside of the vacuum cleaner. Push the cardboard square firmly around the tube as best you can. Just push the outer cover closed and snap it into place and you are good to go!
